Poet visit to school on Thursday for World Book Day!

Poet, writer and storyteller, Conrad Burdekin, will be visiting school tomorrow (Thursday 6th March) to help inspire our children with poetry and stories. He will perform some of his own poems to the children, as well as tell them some captivating stories. We are sure that the staff and children will absolutely love the day as everyone always loves his visits. Conrad is the proud author of five books of poetry for children, with his fifth one (Space Café and other poems) being released most recently. His books are full of humorous poems for children and are appropriate for all primary school aged pupils.

We would now like to offer you the opportunity of buying some of Conrad’s books. They would make a great present, or indeed a memento of Conrad’s visit. If you would like to have a look at some of Conrad’s poems before buying, you can see them on his website www.conradburdekin.com and can find him on Facebook at Conrad Burdekin Books. You can also see him performing some of his poems on his Youtube Channel – just search for Conrad Burdekin. Every book bought will be signed by Conrad and will have a personalised message written inside to your child. Please send your order form, with correct money, to school as soon as possible. Books will still be able to be ordered after Conrad’s visit, so don’t worry if you’re a few days late.
